HOW TO ADD A BORDER ROUND A IMAGE


OPEN YOUR IMAGE IN PHOTOSHOP.
SELECT RECTANGULAR MARQUEE TOOL.
SELECT THE WHOLE IMAGE.
GO TO “EDIT > STROKE > CHANGE COLOUR TO WHITE. (OR ANY COLOUR YOU LIKE). CLICK IN THE COLOUR BOX TO GO TO THE COLOUR PICKER DIALOGUE AND CHOOSE YOUR COLOUR. CLICK O.K.
IN THE STROKE DIALOGUE BOX, CHOOSE WIDTH OF 40 PIXELS, ( OR MORE, OR LESS, IT`S YOUR CHOICE). CHECK “LOCATION INSIDE”. CLICK O.K.
GO TO “SELECT” > MODIFY > BORDER, CHOOSE WIDTH OF 5 PIXELS AND CLICK O.K.
PICK THE BRUSH TOOL, CHOOSE BLACK AS THE COLOUR, USE A LARGE BRUSH, OPACITY SET TO 100%.
PAINT AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE IMAGE, MAKING SURE NOT TO MISS ANY AREAS. (YOU MAY NOT SEE ANY BORDER TILL YOU FINISH THIS PROCEDURE).
GO TO MARQUEE TOOL, RIGHT CLICK, AND CHOOSE “DESELECT.”
SIZE, AND SAVE YOUR IMAGE AS NORMAL.
